Well, screw the friends in other social networks. I have enough friends as it is and I'm hardly social anyway.
Y'know what I found scary about that, though? It's that my soulmate has a future spouse that is not me!
I still feel that there must be some *real* use for online social networking that does not involve the problems shown in that link. I'm currently trying to organize my thoughts and ideas on the matter into a coherent post.
Linkedin seems to be fine. When it's business, it doesn't matter how they connected as long as they're there.
Social networking works well for business. Well, that's a start.
