The Massachusetts Institute of Technology is conducting a general social survey for bloggers. The survey asks a variety of questions about your blogging habits (both blog-reading and blog-posting) as well as some that are more social in nature like your IM habits and, strangely enough, the professions of your acquaintances and friends. After taking it, participants are supposed to be able to see the current results of the survey; but not right now--the results are "temporarily offline"--so I'll probably update this post after I finally get them. Update: Here's the preliminary results page. You need to take the survey to see the whole thing. It's interesting that (according to the survey, anyway) a great majority of bloggers have never changed their blog's location ever (The Brain was initially in LiveJournal).
