Two Google Updates for today

Google Update #1: Google Image Search has just been updated. It now indexes roughly 1.18763 BILLION images across the Web. In Mr. Malpani's words: "If a picture is worth a thousand words, then Google Image Search is now worth 1 trillion, 187 billion, 63 million words." w00t!

Google Update #2: Google beta tests Google Maps. This new service "allows users in the U.S. to find location information, navigate through maps, and get directions quickly and easily." The service integrates Google Local's features with an even more graphically advanced environment. You may learn more about it by reading the FAQ or by taking an online tour.

Currently, Google Maps (like Google Local) only shows U.S. locations. I wonder if a Philippines version will be made in the near future? *dreams away*
